At 20, Kylie Jenner is already a mother and a business woman worth upwards of $900 million, so perhaps it’s no surprise she started preparing for her future at a young age. “She had a plan for Kylie Cosmetics when she was 17 and said, ‘OK, Mom, I want you to sit down,” Kris Jenner recalls in a new interview with TMZ’s Harvey Levin for “OBJECTified.” “‘I finally figured out what I want to do for the rest of my life,'” Kylie continued, according to Kris. “And she said, ‘It’s going to be makeup. I want to do my own makeup. And I want to do a lip kit, and this is what I want to do, and these are the three colors. And she had meetings, she knew exactly who she wanted and executed it. And I think 10 minutes later, her product was sold out.” Forbes recently declared Kylie’s on track to become the “youngest self-made billionaire ever, male or female.” While some of taken issue with the claim Kylie, who was born into a wealthy family, is “self-made,” her sister, Kim Kardashian West, defended her this week, telling Refinery29, “I really didn’t get it, because she is ‘self-made’ — we are all ‘self-made.’ What, because we came from a family that has had success?” she asked. “To me, that doesn’t really make sense. … I know so many people like that [who] haven’t turned out to be as successful as Kylie. If anything, I’ve seen the complete opposite.”
