Outlander is getting ready for its fifth season, but those behind the series are already looking at life after Outlander ends. Is it possible fans could see the world seen in the series pop up again in a spinoff? Starz has already announced a total of four spin-offs for Power recently. It is possible that Outlander will get similar treatment.
Per Variety, Ron Moore, the executive producer of Outlander, said the following about the possibility at the premiere for season five of the Starz series:
“We are definitely talking about it, there’s nothing official but we’re in conversations about it.”
Jeff Hirsch, the CEO of Starz, also spoke about Outlander spin-offs in January at the TCA’s.
The cast of Outlander features Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, David Berry, John Bell, Ed Speleers, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Cesar Domboy, Lauren Lyle, Colin McFarlane, Natalie Simpson, Kyle Rees, and Tim Downie.
