Jason Momoa surprises 7-year-old cancer patient with ‘beautiful’ visit

He puts the “awwww” in “Aquaman.”

Superstar Jason Momoa surprised a cancer-stricken fan with a Facetime call after video of the little boy unwrapping an “Aquaman” toy went viral. A clip of their touching conversation currently has over 600,000 likes on Instagram.

“So I just wanted to say thank you to the community, friends and family on Instagram for reaching out and showing me this beautiful boy Danny who is going through chemo and has cancer,” wrote Momoa, 41, on the ‘Gram. The clip he’s referring to was first posted Nov. 15 by a Facebook page chronicling 7-year-old Danny Sheehan’s battle with pineoblastoma — a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer that he’s had since 2017.

“I love Aquaman,” the Marshfield, Mass. native exclaims in the touching home movie, adding that it’s his “favorite character.”

Momoa was so moved by the video that he decided to “Facetime him and spend some time talking to him,” the star wrote on the ‘Gram. He uploaded a clip of their heart-to-heart chat on Wednesday.

“Hi, beautiful boy!,” bellowed Momoa to his superfan, who gushes that he is “so excited” to be talking to his hero.

“I have been hearing about you all over, from all of my friends,” Momoa said. “And I wanted to call you and say hi and see how you’re doing.”

Later on, the “Aquaman” discusses his oceanic adventures, and pledges to take his fan dolphin riding. Sheehan also shows the “Justice League” star his new action figure, causing Momoa to roar with laughter.

The clip concludes with Momoa promising to gift Danny one of his tridents and inviting him to the set of “Aquaman 2” when they begin filming in London next year, ABC reported. The real-life superhero even provides a link to Sheehan’s GoFundMe page, which has raised over $120,000 at the time of writing.

Sheehan’s Facebook page has since responded to the star’s heartwarming gesture.

“Thank you for making this call and for making Danny the happiest little boy ever — he can’t wait to ride dolphins with #AQUAMAN!!,” they wrote. “And a huge thank you to everyone who shared D’s video and made the seemingly impossible of him meeting his superhero hero totally possible! My mom heart is bursting with joy, thankfulness, and love.”

“It’s just been an unbelievable blur, and it’s been magical,” Danny’s mom Natalie Sheehan added.
