Keeping up with the Kardashians<\/em>, the mother of three is seen getting into\u00a0heated arguments\u00a0with sister\u00a0Kim\u00a0and\u00a0Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian. Now, the reality star is addressing the tension in the family, admitting that it\u2019s been building for some time.<\/p>\n\u201cI think it started at the end of season 14, a lot of tension building between us,\u201d Kourtney, 39, told\u00a0E! News. \u201cI felt like every day almost I was being picked on and criticized and I just couldn\u2019t take it any more.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kourtney said it\u2019s been a \u201cprocess\u201d trying to get back on track with her family.<\/p>\n
\u201cHonestly, I think it\u2019s ongoing,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ve been really working on myself a lot and I think through my growth, I\u2019m better at expressing myself. I think in the past I\u2019ve always been great at like not being emotional. I think that I\u2019m better now at expressing my feelings. So I think this is ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n
She said the sisters are making an effort to openly communicate with one another whenever they have an issue to address.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a lot of communication instead of letting things go back into the way that they were,\u201d she continued. \u201cIt\u2019s definitely a process and you\u2019ll see it throughout the season.\u201d<\/p>\n
As for the sister who always has her back?<\/p>\n
\u201cKendall [Jenner]\u00a0because we\u2019re just like really best friends. We\u2019re on the same wavelength. Like we like the same stuff, we like to do the same stuff,\u201d she said. \u201cWhen I was watching some cuts, I see my sisters talking about me and I obviously have no idea because I wasn\u2019t there and I\u2019m like, \u2018What?! They\u2019re saying this about me?\u2019 And then Kendall has my back.\u201d<\/p>\n
In a clip from the upcoming season, Kourtney\u00a0sobs on the phone\u00a0to Khlo\u00e9, 33,\u00a0after Kim, 37, called her the\u00a0\u201cleast exciting to look at\u201d\u00a0while trying to plan a family photoshoot.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not here to be mistreated by my f\u2014ing b—- family,\u201d Kourtney says on speakerphone, crying. \u201cKim saying that I\u2019m the least interesting to look at \u2014 who even speaks like that? You don\u2019t say things like that. You guys just have really different values than me. I choose to be a mother to my three kids. I\u2019m not here looking for another job. I already work enough \u2014 more than I would like to.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s natural to me is being a mother,\u201d she continues. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t expect everyone to have the same interests.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking to PEOPLE earlier this week, Kourtney said the argument was\u00a0\u201cprobably our craziest fight that we\u2019ve ever had.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI think I\u2019ve always been the sister who like, I would just tell them like it is, or if they said something to me, I\u2019d just break them right down the fastest and make them upset,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd now I\u2019ve been working on being more in touch with my feelings. I think I just couldn\u2019t take it anymore. I just felt like we needed to make a change and not be so critical.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve always been a family who will do anything for each other and we know that at the end of the day,\u201d she added. \u201cBut sometimes there\u2019s criticism and I felt not good hanging out with them everyday and I couldn\u2019t take it anymore. So you\u2019ll see in the season how it plays out.\u201d<\/p>\n
