Emma Stone’s family could be expanding by one very fuzzy, sleepy puppy this fall.<\/p>\n

The “Maniac” star stopped by “The Late Show” this week, where she and Stephen Colbert showed off<\/p>\n

some ridiculously cute pooches who were rescued from Hurricane Florence and looking for good homes.<\/p>\n

“Everyone loves puppies, so the only way to make them even more adoptable<\/p>\n

is to have a celebrity lie on the puppies’ behalf,” Stephen joked (via\u00a0E! News).<\/p>\n

“Stephen, I’m an actor,” Emma deadpanned. “Lying is what I do best.”<\/p>\n

They proceeded to show off an insanely cute shepherd mix named Dwayne who<\/p>\n

Stephen claimed was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s namesake. Later, viewers met Olive,<\/p>\n

whom the stars said was a private security consultant currently working with the Robert Mueller<\/p>\n

investigation. Then there was Ruby.<\/p>\n

“She is named that because of what she poops,” Emma declared. Another four-legged friend, Riggs,<\/p>\n

“sees too many colors because he brews his own ayahuasca,” according to Emma. Although Emma said she couldn’t take in a second dog because her current rescue pup already has to stay with her brother when she travels, which is frequently, Dwayne was snoozing pretty adorably in her lap as she talked about her new Netflix series with Stephen.
