after she was accused by an insider of \u201cmilking\u201d the #MeToo movement.<\/p>\n
Earlier this week there was feverish online speculation that Kelly might be<\/p>\n
looking to reposition herself as a more conservative voice when\u00a0she attacked one<\/p>\n
of Brett Kavanaugh\u2019s accusers\u00a0and retweeted messages posted in support of the judge.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The latest bit of sniping comes after Kelly told<\/p>\n
\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em>\u00a0that she has inside<\/p>\n information about the network\u2019s former star anchor, Matt Lauer,<\/p>\n who was forced to resign in disgrace in the wake of sexual-harassment allegations.<\/p>\n \u201cI know too much that others don\u2019t know,\u201d<\/p>\n Kelly said after the mag asked if she thought Lauer could ever make a comeback.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel very strongly about the #MeToo coverage,<\/p>\n the importance of doing it without fear or favor.\u201d<\/p>\n The provocative comment did not go over well with some staffers at<\/p>\n NBC who were quick to speak out.<\/p>\n \u201cThere were a lot of eye-rolls.
