Behati Prinsloo is getting candid about her struggle with postpartum depression in a brand new interview with Net-a-Porter. The model is the mother of two daughters \u2013 2 year old Dusty Rose and Gio Grace, 10 months \u2013 with her hubby Adam Levine.<\/p>\n

According to the 30 year old woman, after giving birth to their second child, everything felt a lot easier than after the first.<\/p>\n

\u2018After my first baby, I had a bit of postpartum depression and it was difficult to get back to my normal life. But after the second,\u00a0everything felt much easier; it was easier to work out, breastfeeding was also easier. Nobody pressured me to return to work, not even Victoria\u2019s Secret,\u00a0even though I was under contract\u00a0 \u2013 they never asked me when I was going to be back,\u2019 Behati shared.<\/p>\n

She also revealed that she really enjoyed being pregnant the first time \u2013 just doing nothing after 15 years of modeling felt nice \u2013 and so, while carrying her second, she just repeated the experience.<\/p>\n

But still, just eight months after welcoming baby Gio, Behati returned to the runway.<\/p>\n

\u2018I felt empowered. I was like, \u2018I can DO this. I have two kids.\u2019 I loved being pregnant, and I also enjoyed getting back to work. I am finally enjoying getting dressed again. I was pregnant and then breastfeeding for so long that I was literally living in yoga pants.\u2019<\/p>\n

It was time for her to wear jeans and a T-shirt again! It may not sound like dressing up, but for a mother of two born so soon one after the other, it was a big change.<\/p>\n

Behati said that Adam buys her a lot of \u2018crazy sneakers\u2019 since she feels like she\u2019s too tall for heels and doesn\u2019t wear them on a day to day basis because they make her uncomfortable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
