But, have you ever wondered why Kate Middleton always stands in front of Meghan Markle?<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to Royal expert and managing editor of\u00a0<em>Majesty<\/em>\u00a0magazine, Joe Little, Middleton is always in front of Markle because of royal rules and protocol. These rules also dictate that William and Kate walk in front of Harry and Meghan because there is a \u201cpecking order.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" dir=\"ltr\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Wealth And Squabbles: Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton&#8217;s Rumored Royal Feud Gets TLC Special\u00a0\ud83d\udc40<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Global Grind (@GlobalGrind)\u00a0February 1, 2019<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">When Meghan made her first appearance as a member of the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony during last summer\u2019s Trooping the Guard, Little explained that there are numerous protocols for public appearances.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cShe [Markle] was not as prominent perhaps as some people might have expected, but there\u2019s a pecking order,\u201d said Little. \u201cThere was no slight intended, but William being the older, more senior brother would go out [first] with his wife.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Little added that the Royals stand on ceremony, and the least important members of the family arrive first and the most important appear last. This is standard protocol that applies to every member of the family.
