In a pressure-filled situation, I defended a friend in the wrong way. I now realize how insensitive it was, and I had no intention of invoking such a terrible historical comparison. I have learned from this, and will grow from it. One Love, MRod,\u2019 the apology message reads.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><iframe id=\"instagram-embed-0\" class=\"instagram-media instagram-media-rendered\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BtrULMpAJG-\/embed\/?cr=1&amp;v=12&amp;wp=500&amp;rd=http%3A%2F%2Fcelebrityinsider.org&amp;rp=%2Fmichelle-rodriguez-apologizes-for-defending-liam-neeson-i-was-insensitive-244816%2F#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A1469.9000000000524%7D\" height=\"550\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-instgrm-payload-id=\"instagram-media-payload-0\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">As you may remember, the whole scandal started during Neeson\u2019s Cold Pursuit press tour when he revealed that a long time ago a black man sexually assaulted a member of his family.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to him, knowing nothing else about the attacker except for his skin color, Neeson took the streets for many nights armed with a \u2018cosh\u2019 hoping to get into conflict with any random black man and kill him.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Of course, that was 40 years ago, and the man confessed he was ashamed of what went through his mind at the time.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Despite this, there was still backlash against him and so, while a guest on Good Morning America, he once again insisted that he was \u2018not racist.\u2019<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">And during an interview for Vanity Fair, Rodriguez claimed to have proof as to why Neeson was indeed not racist.<\/p>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2018Dude, have you watched Widows? His tongue was so far down Viola Davis\u2019 throat. You cannot call him racist, ever. Racists do not make out with the race they hate, especially in the way that he does with his tongue.
