According to The Westerly Sun, a 32-year-old Iowa resident who was already being looked out for the singer&#8217;s security because of previous behavior was charged with possession of burglary tools and possession of a prohibited weapon other than a firearm last week (via The Blast). &#8220;He has a history \u2014 security guards at the home told us that he was already on a watch list because there were concerns he could pose a threat &#8230;,&#8221; said Westerly Police Chief Shawn Lacey. &#8220;It is our understanding that he may have visited other properties belonging to Taylor Swift in the past.&#8221; Police got involved after multiple Rhode Island locals reported his allegedly suspicious appearance near a boat yard by Taylor&#8217;s home.
