When the crowd noticed his ring, he delved into marriage, saying, \u201cI\u2019m getting married and it\u2019s such a crazy thing,\u201d according to Page Six.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was so scared of marriage for so long because every time I talked to someone who just got married, or was about to get married, is like, \u2018Oh my God, you got to do it \u2026 What could go wrong?’\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n
Jost continued, \u201cThen you talk to someone who\u2019s been married for five years, and they\u2019re like, \u2018Don\u2019t rush into it \u2026 you have your whole life ahead of you. Don\u2019t have kids. They\u2019re the worst.’\u201d<\/p>\n
Johannson, 34, and Jost became engaged in May after two years of dating. The actress\u2019 publicist Marcel Pariseau confirmed the news to the Associated Press.<\/p>\n
The Avengers: Endgame star debuted her 11-carat engagement ring earlier this month while taking the stage at San Diego Comic-Con for her upcoming Black Widow film.<\/p>\n
In May of this year, a source told PEOPLE that the pair had bonded over a similar sense of humor \u2014 particularly their shared love of sarcasm.<\/p>\n
\u201cScarlett likes Colin\u2019s sarcasm and wit,\u201d the insider said of the Avengers: Endgame actress and the Saturday Night Live funnyman. \u201cThey share a love for acerbic humor and outrage at social issues gone bad. They have much in common.\u201d<\/p>\n
Johansson was previously married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2010 and Romain Dauriac from 2014 to 2017, with whom she shares a daughter. This will be Jost\u2019s first marriage.<\/p>\n
