Now back in town and tending bar at Casa Bonita, Louise pursued Dan in last season\u2019s 8th episode, but her advances were rebuffed. Given the length of Sagal\u2019s return \u2014 she is set to appear in 10 of Season 2\u2019s 19 episodes \u2014 it stands to reason that Louise will have more luck the second time around.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWe\u2019re taking it slow,\u201d showrunner Bruce Helford says of a potential Dan-Louise romance. \u201cShe wants a relationship. She wants romance. She is not giving up. But Dan is still having difficulty. He\u2019s struggling with whether he\u2019d be betraying [Roseanne] if he does move toward someone else. And can he ever find that feeling with anybody else?\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Last January, on the eve of the Roseanne spinoff\u2019s Season 1 finale, star and EP Sara Gilbert gushed about Sagal\u2019s \u201camazing\u201d performance, adding that she would \u201clove to have her back\u201d in a then-potential Season 2.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Conners\u2018 second season debuts Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 8\/7c.
