Henry Cavill isn’t quite ready to let go of Superman.<\/p>\n
The actor and star of the upcoming ‘The Witcher’ Netflix series revealed all to Mens’ Health.<\/p>\n
In an interview for the magazine’s December cover story, Cavill said: \u201cThe cape is in the closet. It\u2019s still mine.\u201d<\/p>\n
Regarding rumours that Superman may appear again, in spite of characters such as The Batman, who Robert Pattinson has taken the reins of from Ben Affleck, effectively retiring, he comments: \u201cI\u2019m not just going to sit quietly in the dark as all this stuff is going on.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve not given up the role. There\u2019s a lot I have to give for Superman yet. A lot of storytelling to do. A lot of real, true depths to the honesty of the character I want to get into. I want to reflect the comic books. That\u2019s important to me. There\u2019s a lot of justice to be done for Superman. The status is: You\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cavill first played Superman, aka Clark Kent, in ‘Man of Steel’, which he told Men’s Health was \u201cA great starting point. If I were to go back, I don\u2019t think I\u2019d change anything.\u201d<\/p>\n
He admitted ‘Justice League’ \u201cdidn\u2019t work\u201d (though calls for the Zach Snyder cut remain), and DC\/Warner Bros. has hit pause on any Superman movies since.<\/p>\n
