In the post\u2019s caption, the 23-year-old began by emphasising the importance of \u201chuman connection\u201d, explaining that she enjoys \u201cfinding common interests\u201d with other people and hearing their stories.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe reason I say all of this is: because I love to connect, I do my best to expose my heart which means I love freely and I empathise deeply, and because of that I also hurt very easily when I feel like people don\u2019t see my heart and see me for who I am,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd the reason I\u2019m even sharing this, is because Instagram, Twitter etc is SUCH a breeding ground for cruelty towards each other.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bieber said that while she can pretend that hurtful words shared on social media do not affect her, doing so isn\u2019t that simple.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt hurts to be torn apart on the internet!!!\u201d she wrote. \u201cIt hurts to be compared to other human beings every single day, it hurts for people to jump to conclusions and make assumptions.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt hurts to be called names, and to feel like you don\u2019t measure up to a certain standard… the list goes on and on.\u201d<\/p>\n
The fashion model ended her message by stating her belief that it is \u201cimportant to be honest about how these things affect us mentally and emotionally\u201d.<\/p>\n
In October, Selena Gomez issued a plea asking for her fans to \u201cbe kind\u201d towards Bieber.<\/p>\n
Bieber had shared a song titled \u201cI\u2019ll Kill You\u201d on her Instagram Story, which several of Gomez\u2019s fans speculated was an attack on the singer, considering she used to date Bieber\u2019s husband, Justin Bieber.<\/p>\n
