Elite\u00a0<\/em>season 3\u00a0may have only just come out but fans are already demanding for Netflix to release season 4 of the teen thriller.<\/p>\n

It didn’t take long for\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0to become one of Netflix’s most successful dramas. As soon as the hit Spanish series came out in 2018, people all around the world were instantly gripped by\u00a0the murder of Marina\u00a0and the drama that followed it. Since then, the show’s had many more scandals and Season 3 appears to draw things neatly to a close as we find out\u00a0who killed Polo.<\/p>\n

Naturally, viewers want to see more of the students of Las Encinas though. With that in mind, here’s everything you need to know about Elite season 4, including the release date, cast, trailer, spoilers and news about what’s to come after season 3.<\/p>\n

When does\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0season 4 come out on Netflix?<\/h2>\n

Will there be an\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0season 4?<\/h2>\n

As it stands, Netflix haven’t officially renewed\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0for a fourth season. However, fans can relax a little bit because, in January, popular Spanish news site\u00a0Bluper\u00a0reported that\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0season 4 and 5 are already in production at Netflix. In other words, it looks like we’ve got plenty more\u00a0Elite\u00a0<\/em>to look forward to in the future.<\/p>\n

We imagine that Netflix will confirm the Elite season 4 renewal within the next few weeks.<\/p>\n

When is the\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0season 4 release date?<\/h2>\n

Again there’s no official news regarding an\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0season 4 release date just yet. Season 1 was released on October 5 in 2018, season 2 came out on September 6 in 2019 and season 3 dropped on March 13 in 2020. Given how varied all of the release dates have been so far, there’s no knowing for sure when season 4 will come out.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, seeing as it is reportedly already in production, our bet is that season 4 will be released in Autumn this year or Spring next year with eight episodes again just like the previous seasons and the fifth season could follow soon after.<\/p>\n

That being said, due to the Coronavirus outbreak halting production on many series, there is a chance that filming on\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0season 4 could be delayed severely. With that in mind, it’s unclear exactly when season 4 would be released.<\/p>\n

Who will be in the\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0season 4 cast?<\/h2>\n

Prior to Elite season 3 coming out, the original actors and actresses revealed that season 4 will feature a brand new cast. In a video about season 3, Georgina Amor\u00f3s (Cayetana) explained: “It’s a season where the cycle is completed. Another one starts”. Alvar\u00f3 Rico (Polo) also confirmed: “It’s the definitive ending to the evolution of the characters.”<\/p>\n

The news came after\u00a0Fuera de Series\u00a0reported that\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0season 3 would be the final season with the main cast and season 4 will have a whole new cast similar to British teen drama\u00a0Skins<\/em>. As it stands, there is no information on who will appear in the new class of\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0and if it will still be set in Las Encinas but we’ll update you as soon as we know.<\/p>\n

For now though, say goodbye to Samu (Itzan Escamilla), Guzm\u00e1n (Miguel Bernardeau), Lu (Danna Paola), Polo (\u00c1lvaro Rico), Carla (Ester Exp\u00f3sito), Nadia (Mina El Hammani), Ander (Ar\u00f3n Piper), Omar (Omar Shana), Nano (Jaime Lorente), Rebeca (Claudia Salas), Valerio (Jorge L\u00f3pez) and Cayetana (Georgina Amor\u00f3s).<\/p>\n

Not to mention, season 3 newcomers Yeray (Sergio Momo) and Malick (Le\u00efti S\u00e8ne).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

What will happen in\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0season 4?<\/h2>\n

Seeing as\u00a0Elite<\/em>\u00a0season 4 will feature a brand new cast there’s no knowing what the plot will be just yet. The current cast and crew are yet to say anything. If it’s still set at Las Encinas though, we imagine that there will be a new set of students, new class struggles and a lot more scandal.<\/p>\n

Given that\u00a0season 3 ends\u00a0with Guzm\u00e1n, Samuel, Rebeca, Ander and Omar all still at Las Encinas, we imagine that the show may change schools for season 4, unless there will be cameos from the initial cast. We’ll let you know as soon as theories, spoilers and news materialise.<\/p>\n
