<\/p>\nAmber Heard shared her ‘heartbreak’ on Sunday as she revealed that her mother Paige Heard had died.<\/p>\n
The 34-year-old Aquaman star revealed her mother’s death in a somber Instagram post featuring vintage photos of the two.<\/p>\n
‘I am heartbroken and devastated beyond belief at the loss of my mom, Paige Heard,’ she began in the caption.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
‘She left us too early, clasping onto the memory of her beautiful, gentle soul. She will be missed from the very depths of our hearts forever,’ she continued.<\/p>\n
‘Her unflinching, open heart made her the most beautiful woman I had ever known. It\u2019s hard to imagine and even more difficult to say but I feel truly lucky to have been her daughter and been given the gift of having the light she shone on everyone, fall on me for nearly 34 years.<\/p>\n
‘This has been an unbelievably painful time but in that, I am reminded of what survives us all, love,’ wrote the actress<\/p>\n
‘The kindness, support and generosity my sister Whit and I have received from friends and family has been utterly soul-saving.’<\/p>\n

Amber’s post included a sweet throwback photo of herself as a child, while her mother held her.<\/p>\n
The Her Smell actress’ father David Heard could also be seen in the background.<\/p>\n
She also posted a more recent black and white photo in which Paige hugged a fresh-faced Amber.<\/p>\n
Paige, 63, and her husband raised Amber in Austin, Texas<\/p>\n
The former wife of Johnny Depp eventually rebelled against the states conservative social codes and moved to New York City to pursue modeling, before going west to Los Angeles to transition into the film industry.<\/p>\n

Paige was occasionally featured on Amber’s Instagram, and she made her most recent appearance on March 8 when Amber posted a raucous photo of her mother, who worked as an internet researcher, and her sister Whit in honor of International Women’s Day.<\/p>\n
A playful snap from 2018 featured featured Paige and David both kissing Amber on either cheek while she scrunched her face up in mock embarrassment.<\/p>\n
Earlier that year, the Magic Mike XXL actress posted a sweet photo of her mother resting her head on her in front of a lovely riverside view.<\/p>\n
