\u201cIt\u2019s definitely shaken things up in their relationship, and not for the better, but they\u2019re going to get through it,\u201d the insider adds. \u201cThey\u2019ll do their time, and then decide as a family how to move forward. They know the most logical way through this is together. While all this plays out, they need to remain a united front. There\u2019s no other option for the time being.\u201d<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Full House<\/em>\u00a0alum, 55, and the fashion designer, 56, pleaded guilty to fraud charges on Friday, May 22, and\u00a0agreed to the terms of a plea deal<\/a>\u00a0ahead of their August 21 sentencing. Loughlin will serve two months in prison with an additional two years of parole and will serve 100 hours of community service. She has also agreed to pay a $150,000 fine. Her husband will be paying a $250,000 fine and will spend five months in prison. Once out of prison, Giannulli will complete two years of supervised release and 250 hours of community service.<\/p>\n

Though the couple \u201chave had their differences throughout the legal battle,\u201d they decided it would be best to stick together through thick and thin for their daughters,\u00a0Bella<\/strong><\/a>, 21, and\u00a0Olivia Jade<\/strong><\/a>, 20. The girls were\u00a0\u201cdevastated\u201d<\/a>\u00a0by their parents\u2019 move to plead guilty at first, but eventually came to respect the difficult choice.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re proud of their mom and dad,\u201d a separate insider told\u00a0Us<\/em>. \u201cIt will be surreal for Isabella and Olivia to visit them behind bars, but\u00a0this is a much better outcome<\/a>\u00a0than what they envisioned.\u201d<\/p>\n

Loughlin and her husband, who tied the knot in 1997, were arrested in March 2019 after allegedly paying $500,000 to ensure that\u00a0their daughters would be accepted<\/a>\u00a0into the University of Southern California. The couple initially pleaded not guilty to the apparent crime, but\u00a0image consultant\u00a0Amanda Sanders<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0told\u00a0Us<\/em>\u00a0that the actress changed her tune because her \u201cback was up against a wall.\u201d<\/p>\n
