Everyone\u2019s sad and it\u2019s okay to be sad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u201cIt\u2019s just one day when you\u2019re like, \u2018Wow, this has forever changed and it\u2019s not just my heart has changed, there\u2019s other little hearts, too,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Clarkson admitted that it\u2019s been difficult to deal with the divorce as a public figure and \u201cat the same time protecting these little kids you adore.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Stefani \u2014 who shares sons Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 6 with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale \u2014 lauded Clarkson for \u201cdoing a really great job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u201cI think it\u2019s hard to be a public person, but now that you add in a family \u2026 they didn\u2019t choose it,\u201d Stefani, 51, added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">In an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/09\/11\/kelly-clarkson-wont-be-truly-open-about-divorce-from-brandon-blackstock\/\">interview<\/a>\u00a0last month, Clarkson confessed that even though she\u2019s, \u201ca very open person,\u201d she won\u2019t be \u201ctruly open\u201d about the split, \u201cbecause there\u2019s kids involved \u2026 It\u2019s a lot to process and deal with, just as a family.
