Like a lot of us, Jenna Dewan spent her birthday at home this year.<\/p>\n
The \u201cFlirty Dancing\u201d host celebrated her big 4-0 Thursday and spoke with \u201cThe Talk\u201d Monday about how she marked the occasion over the weekend.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was a big milestone birthday for me,\u201d Dewan said. \u201cSo I turned 40. Under any other time, I would have had some big bash blowout. And because of, you know, Covid and 2020, we just stayed in the house.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had such a great day though,\u201d she continued. \u201cMy kids were here. Evie made me a cake, a coupon book. It\u2019s so funny though, it\u2019s a non-refundable coupon book. I can only use these coupons once.\u201d<\/p>\n
Asked by host Sheryl Underwood how she feels on the other side of 40, Dewan said, \u201cI feel proud of myself in a sense, of accomplishing and overcoming what I\u2019ve gone through up until this point in my life.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I feel excited about this next chapter,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd you know, it\u2019s a good feeling. It was really nice to just be in the house and enjoy the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dewan and fianc\u00e9 Steve Kazee, 45,\u00a0welcomed their first child together<\/a>, a baby boy named Callum Michael Rebel, in March.
