Original \u201cSaved By the Bell\u201d star Tiffani Thiessen says the recent reboot of the beloved show \u201cexceeded my expectations.\u201d<\/p>\n
Showrunner Tracy Wigfield \u201chas done a great job,\u201d Thiessen, 46, recently told Page Six. \u201cShe\u2019s given [fans] a little of the nostalgia of it, bringing some of the characters back.\u201d<\/p>\n
But Thiessen adds that Wigfield brought in \u201csome amazing new characters that are smart, funny [and] witty\u201d and notes the show \u201chas a lot of heart, too.\u201d<\/p>\n
Without spoiling the entirety of her character\u2019s arc with Zack Morris, Thiessen says that the part of their plot fans have had the hardest time accepting is that the couple has had only one child.<\/p>\n
And as for retroactively imagining a role \u201cSaved By the Hell\u201d that her husband of 15 years, Brady Smith, might have played, Thiessen says Smith, who illustrated the couple\u2019s children book, \u201cYou\u2019re Missing It!,\u201d would have been \u201cthat guy that would be painting all the girls, you know, and all the girls would think was hot.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
