Tarek El Moussa and fianc\u00e9e Heather Rae Young are currently vacationing in Cabo, but they plan to be back home in California for Christmas.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think it\u2019s just going to be a quiet Christmas Eve and then the whole family\u2019s coming over for Christmas Day,\u201d Young recently told Page Six. \u201cSo that\u2019ll be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u201cSelling Sunset\u201d star said El Moussa\u2019s father and stepdad are both \u201creally amazing cooks,\u201d leaving her to kick back on the holiday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey told me I don\u2019t have to stress out about anything. I don\u2019t have to do anything. I just have to be at my house and they\u2019re going to handle everything,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
El Moussa, who has two kids with ex-wife Christina Anstead, said the house is ready for the holiday festivities with \u201ca whole bunch of Christmas lights.\u201d<\/p>\n
Outside, the family \u201cwrapped the trees and the bushes\u201d and inside, they put up a big tree and installed decorations \u201call over the house.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of the fun things that we like to do is the Elf on the Shelf with both kids,\u201d the HGTV star said. \u201cSo we have two elves, and every night we place those elves in a weird place in the house. And we add a little gift for them \u2014 might be a couple of dollars or something like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
When it comes to gifts, El Moussa and Young, who got engaged in July, aren\u2019t skimping.<\/p>\n
\u201cTaylor wants a guitar and guitar lessons, and Brayden is obsessed with sharks right now,\u201d Young said of her fianc\u00e9\u2019s children. \u201cHe\u2019s obsessed with the Megalodon, so I\u2019m getting a bunch of shark gifts.\u201d<\/p>\n
The couple played coy on what they\u2019re getting each other this year, but noted that they typically go for jewelry and designer goods.<\/p>\n
El Moussa also told us that the couple plans to take a skiing trip to Deer Valley in January with the kids, as they typically enjoy a family vacation every year.<\/p>\n
\u201cObviously that\u2019s tough with the pandemic,\u201d he said, noting that he and Young both miss their jet-setting lifestyles.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe traveled to Europe together. We love Napa. We love Mexico. We just love traveling,\u201d he continued. \u201cThe first half of our relationship, we traveled all over the world \u2014 and then next thing we know, we\u2019re quarantined together at the house instead of traveling.
