Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0has had to say “hasta la vista, baby” to his preconceived notions of\u00a0the path that his daughter\u00a0Katherine Schwarzenegger<\/strong><\/a>‘s life would take.<\/p>\n

The iconic action-film star surprised his former\u00a0Kindergarten Cop<\/em>\u00a0co-stars with his appearance during a Zoom reunion hosted by\u00a0Yahoo! Entertainment<\/a>\u00a0on Monday, Dec. 21. During the virtual event\u00a0celebrating the 1990 family-friendly film<\/a>, the actor said that he never expected Katherine to fall in love with someone from his same line of work, as she did when she tied the knot with\u00a0Chris Pratt<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in June 2019.<\/p>\n

“I never, ever thought that my daughter is going to marry an actor,” Arnold admitted. “I said to myself, she would be sick and tired of me dragging them to sets, having them watch me blowing up buildings and killing people.”<\/p>\n

For some reason, Katherine, 31, was an anomaly among the four now-adult children that the\u00a0Twins<\/em>\u00a0performer raised with\u00a0Maria Shriver<\/strong>\u00a0before the couple\u00a0ended their 25-year marriage<\/a>\u00a0in May 2011. Arnold is also the father to 23-year-old\u00a0Joseph Baena<\/strong>\u00a0from his relationship with\u00a0Mildred Baena<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

“My kids always enjoyed it, but Katherine, she was crying always, the first few movies,” the 73-year-old star continued.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

During the Zoom reunion, Arnold called Chris Pratt a “fantastic guy” who is “so easy to get along with.”<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Jingle All the Way<\/em>\u00a0actor<\/a>\u00a0added, “I’m really happy because he has been a wonderful, wonderful husband to her, and such a great son-in-law.”<\/p>\n

Katherine and her 41-year-old\u00a0Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em>\u00a0star husband\u00a0welcomed daughter\u00a0Lyla<\/strong>\u00a0in August<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
