Brad Pitt will be spending at least some of the holidays with three of his children \u2014 daughter Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne \u2014 as his bitter custody battle with Angelina Jolie rages on.<\/p>\n
However, the visit will be limited to the specific window of Christmas Day and then some, according to Us Weekly, who reported the news. \u201c
\nThey can spend the night with him on Christmas Eve,\u201d the mag quotes a source as saying, who then clarifies that Pitt and Jolie
\n\u201cpreviously discussed spending the holidays as a family when they were \u2018getting along\u2019 earlier this year, but plans have since changed.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBrad and Angelina are equally responsible for the never-ending drama,\u201d the source adds. \u201cSadly, their children are collateral damage.\u201d<\/p>\n
The coronavirus pandemic derailed Jolie\u2019s usual globetrotting this year. Us Weekly\u2019s source described her as \u201cmore prickly\u201d as a result, noting, \u201cshe has wanted to do humanitarian work beyond the United States but needs permission from Brad to take the kids out of the county,\u201d<\/p>\n
Pitt, 57, and Jolie, 45, are locked in an interminable custody battle that has dragged on and on since they were declared legally single in April 2019. (Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016.)<\/p>\n
Aside from Shiloh, 14, and the twins, 12, the custody battle affects 17-year-old Pax and 15-year-old Zahara. The couple\u2019s eldest, Maddox, is a legal adult at 19.<\/p>\n
This summer, Jolie attempted to have the private judge in their divorce \u2014 John W. Ouderkirk \u2014 be removed, because he was allegedly too close to Pitt\u2019s attorneys. Pitt\u2019s team responded with court documents showing that Ouderkirk, who officiated the couple\u2019s wedding in 2014, had made all parties aware of the supposed conflict.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe longer she does this, the more damage she does to the kids,\u201d one acquaintance of the couple told The Post in August. \u201cThis is a game she\u2019s playing. She still has the kids for more of the time than he does and she\u2019s trying to maintain that as long as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
Pitt\u2019s recent and much-ballyhooed relationship with German model Nicole Poturalski fizzled after two months.
