I promise there will always be a gift under each one of mommy\u2019s trees in honor of her love for you, this holiday, and to commemorate the joy she brought to so many people. &#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"div-sm-inContent \" style=\"text-align: left\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\" style=\"text-align: left\">\n<p>&#8220;All my love, Yolanda Previtire,&#8221; she signed the statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\" style=\"text-align: left\">\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/people.com\/tag\/ryan-dorsey\/\">Ryan Dorsey<\/a>,\u00a0who shares his 5-year-old son with his late ex Rivera, has been keeping Rivera&#8217;s memory alive in his own special ways as well.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\" style=\"text-align: left\">\n<p>&#8220;Ryan is very much about keeping Naya&#8217;s memory alive. He often tells Josey, &#8216;Mommy would have liked that,&#8217; &#8221; a source previously told PEOPLE.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\" style=\"text-align: left\">\n<p>As a way to keep her close to their hearts, Dorsey and 5-year-old Josey &#8220;look at pictures together and Ryan reminds Josey about all the fun that he had with his mom. Ryan is very focused on being the best dad,&#8221; said the source. &#8220;He is doing a great job.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p>On July 13, Rivera&#8217;s body was found in Lake Piru in Ventura County, California \u2014 five days after she disappeared during the boat excursion. The\u00a0<em>Glee<\/em>\u00a0star&#8217;s cause\u00a0of death was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tv\/naya-rivera-cause-of-death-ruled-as-accidental-drowning\/\">ruled as drowning<\/a>\u00a0and the manner of death was\u00a0<a>determined to be an accident<\/a>. She was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tv\/naya-rivera-laid-to-rest\/\">laid to rest<\/a>\u00a0on July 24.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p>Following her death, Rivera&#8217;s sister,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/parents\/ryan-dorsey-naya-rivera-sister-nickayla-put-life-on-hold-for-son\/\">Nickayla<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/tv\/why-ryan-dorsey-and-naya-rivera-sister-live-together-josey-needs-a-mother-figure-source\/\">moved in with Dorsey and Josey<\/a>\u00a0to help care for her young nephew.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p>&#8220;Along with Nickayla and both of their families, Ryan works hard at making things the best possible for Josey. They are\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/parents\/ryan-dorsey-son-josey-decorates-christmas-tree\/\">getting ready for Christmas now<\/a>,&#8221; a source told PEOPLE of Dorsey and Nickayla earlier this month. &#8220;Ryan and Josey have been decorating.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p>Dorsey also shared a sweet photo documenting their father-son Christmas preparations.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p>After sharing a video of the pair picking up their Christmas tree \u2014 and jamming out to some holiday tunes in the car \u2014 Dorsey, 37, got a little help from his boy when it came to the decorations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p>In a\u00a0<a class=\"external-link\" title=\"(opens new window)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CIb4XaFgDuA\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">touching snapshot<\/a>, Dorsey held Josey in his arms, helping his son place a star on the very top of the tree.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p>\u201c#HappyHolidays to all. You, you, and even you, all of ya. Hope you get nothing but happiness,\u201d he wrote alongside the snapshot, before jokingly adding, \u201cExcept you.
