Nicole Kidman<\/a>‘s youngest child is growing up so fast!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Monday,\u00a0The Prom<\/em>\u00a0actress, 53, celebrated her daughter\u00a0Faith Margaret<\/a>‘s 10th birthday with a\u00a0sweet Instagram tribute<\/a>\u00a0alongside a snapshot of her cake with 10 pink candles on top. Kidman, who also shares 12-year-old daughter\u00a0Sunday Rose<\/a>\u00a0with husband\u00a0Keith Urban<\/a>, wrote: “Happy Birthday darling Faith Margaret! We love you so much \u2764\ufe0f \ud83c\udf82.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kidman and Urban, who tied the knot in 2006, welcomed their second child together via surrogate on Dec. 28, 2010 in Nashville.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret,” they\u00a0said in a statement at the time<\/a>. “No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kidman \u2014 who is also mom to two adult children with ex-husband\u00a0Tom Cruise<\/a>, son\u00a0Connor<\/a>, 25, and daughter\u00a0Isabella<\/a>, 28 \u2014 shared a\u00a0rare photo of daughter Sunday<\/a>\u00a0back in July for her 12th birthday. “Birthday hugs for our darling Sunday \ud83e\udd70\ud83c\udf82 Happy Birthday baby girl xx,” the mom\u00a0wrote<\/a>\u00a0at the time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Earlier this year, Kidman opened up to\u00a0Glamour U.K.<\/em><\/a>\u00a0for the magazine’s November digital issue about\u00a0how her girls have handled the pandemic shutdown<\/a>. She said though they were somewhat used to virtual learning since they travel often because of their famous parents’ jobs, they miss seeing their friends on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“Our kids \u2014 because we travel,\u00a0and we won’t be apart<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 are used to having to learn online, but the social distance has been very difficult for them,” said Kidman. “They are working through the emotions.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“For a 12-year-old, it’s about not being able to access friends easily \u2014 that’s a whole thing which every parent will be going through. And then, there’s a 9-year-old, who’s socially forming. One of the hardest things is just watching them pine and yearn for their friends,” the Oscar winner added. “I pine and yearn for my friends<\/a>\u00a0too.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Also in the\u00a0Glamour U.K.<\/em>\u00a0interview, Kidman said her sister Antonia and three of her kids moved in with Kidman’s family while she shot the new\u00a0Hulu series\u00a0Nine Perfect Strangers<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in Australia, making for quite the full house.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“I just love kids. I said once, ‘I prefer children to adults.’ I like adults more now, not more than kids, though,” she said. “I love being around children and we’ve got five kids living with me now because Keith had to go back [to Nashville] to release his album. So, my sister moved in to help me while I’m filming, and we have three of her younger kids \u2014 she has six \u2014 living with us.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“It’s just fun because I just find their perspective not so heavy,” continued Kidman. “It puts you in a more childlike place where you go, ‘I can move through this and it can be fleeting. It doesn’t have to become a massive weight.’ ”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
