Lady Gaga<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is leading with love and light.<\/p>\n

The “Rain on Me” pop star has officially arrived at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. ahead of\u00a0Joe Biden<\/a><\/strong>‘s\u00a0inauguration on Wednesday, Jan. 20<\/a>. While the\u00a034-year-old musician is set to\u00a0perform the National Anthem<\/a>\u00a0at the highly anticipated event, she’s also using her voice for more than just singing.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 19, the Haus Labs founder\u00a0shared an empowering\u00a0message about\u00a0hope and positivity with her\u00a0millions of followers.<\/p>\n

“I pray tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans,” Lady Gaga began her caption. “A day for love, not hatred. A day for acceptance, not fear. A day for dreaming of our future joy as a country. A dream that is non-violent, a dream that provides safety for our souls. Love, from the Capitol.”<\/p>\n

And it appeared\u00a0Lady Gaga\u00a0followed her own advice because she was\u00a0photographed greeting the National Guard soldiers as she left the U.S. Capitol.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

For her visit,\u00a0Lady Gaga\u00a0looked effortlessly\u00a0elegant in an all-white ensemble, in which she appeared to be wearing a\u00a0tailored suit that she paired with a commanding cape-like coat\u2014something former First Ladies\u00a0Nancy Reagan<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis<\/strong>\u00a0were also known to wear<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The singer’s head-to-toe white outfit\u00a0was also similar to the one\u00a0Kamala Harris<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0donned\u00a0during her\u00a0history-making win<\/a>\u00a0as the vice president\u00a0of the United States.\u00a0Kamala’s attire was a true fashion statement<\/a>, as her power suit was not only a nod to the women’s suffrage movement, but the color itself\u00a0represents both hope and positivity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

It was a moment that wasn’t lost on Lady Gaga herself, who expressed\u00a0her\u00a0excitement over both Joe and Kamala’s victory<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“@joebiden @KamalaHarris and the American people, you just gave the world one of the greatest acts of kindness and bravery humanity has ever seen,” the New York native\u00a0shared on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0back in November. “Nothing but love for our new Commander in Chief and the 1ST female VP elected to the White House.”<\/p>\n

In a separate post, the singer added, “I hope you’re all celebrating. I hope all the women in this country know that there is a real reckoning and a real change. I hope the people who have been oppressed by power… I hope that you know your voices are heard.”<\/p>\n

“I’m just honestly kind of speechless,” she\u00a0went on,\u00a0holding back the tears. “This is a very special day.\u00a0It’s a day where a lot of people… have felt like we were living in a state of terror and aggression all the time and it’s over. You can feel warm now.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

The\u00a0A Star Is Born<\/em>\u00a0actress reminded her fans to spread cheer, saying, “I feel like the world just got a big hug from God. Go home and hug your families and hug yourself. May we all stitch ourselves back together after all this. Be safe and be peaceful. There’s no need to gloat in anybody’s face that Joe won.”<\/p>\n

“There’s no need to be unkind,” she added. “This is just a time for healing, this is a time for rest and a time for love. And the people have spoken.”<\/p>\n

Lady Gaga’s call for peace comes almost two weeks after\u00a0the U.S. Capitol Hill riots<\/a>, in which\u00a0a mob of\u00a0President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a>‘s supporters\u00a0stormed the building and, as Vice President\u00a0Mike Pence<\/strong>\u00a0wrote<\/a>, caused “violence and destruction.”<\/p>\n

With the\u00a02021 Inauguration taking place tomorrow<\/a>, it appears more safety protocols have been implemented. Along with Lady Gaga,\u00a0Jennifer Lopez<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0John Legend<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and many other A-listers are expected to participate\u00a0in the special occasion<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In fact, J.Lo shared a clip of herself at the Capitol on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>, writing, “What an honor to spend a few moments with these brave men and women. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
