Portman, 39, is in Australia filming \u201cThor: Love and Thunder\u201d with Disney\/Marvel mainstay Chris Hemsworth. Wearing a baseball and de rigeur mask, she appeared ready for the gym in a blue tank top and leggings.<\/p>\n

While it does seem unusual for Portman to be in the family way while shooting such a presumably action-heavy role, it would not be unheard of for the film to work around her. By way of a for instance: Gal Gadot did reshoots for \u201cWonder Woman\u201d while five months pregnant; her costume was fitted with a green insert, which was then CGI\u2019ed out in post-production.<\/p>\n
Set photos purportedly from \u201cLove and Thunder\u201d were seen on Twitter this week, though Portman is on horseback in the lone snap of her from the set and wearing a baggy hoodie, which either strengthens the case for a concealed pregnancy or side-steps it entirely. (It\u2019s possible it was cold that day.)<\/p>\n
\nThe possible child would be Portman\u2019s third with husband Benjamin Millepied, who she met while filming \u201cBlack Swan\u201d in 2009. They welcomed a son, Aleph, in 2011, and a daughter, Amalia, in 2017.<\/p>\n
It was announced in July 2019 that Portman\u2019s character in the \u201cThor\u201d franchise, Jane Foster, would be picking up the hammer in \u201cLove and Thunder,\u201d based on the comic storyline \u201cthe Mighty Thor\u201d by Jason Aron.<\/p>\n
