Meghan Trainor<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is officially a mom. The singer has given birth to her first child, a baby boy named\u00a0Riley<\/strong>, with\u00a0her husband of two years<\/a>,\u00a0Daryl Sabara<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

“This sweet baby boy’s due date was today on Valentine’s Day.\u00a0We got to meet him Monday, Feb 8th!” Meghan wrote on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0on Sunday, Feb. 14, alongside photos of the couple’s son. “We are SO IN LOVE [crying emoji]. Thank you @darylsabara for the best Valentine’s gift ever! Welcome to the world Riley!”<\/p>\n

In one pic, baby Riley sleeps peacefully\u00a0while zipped up in a SNOO Smart Sleeper bassinet. He is also shown close up, peering at the camera.\u00a0Another pic\u00a0shows Meghan meeting the couple’s son for the first time and\u00a0another image\u00a0shows\u00a0Daryl feeding Riley\u00a0a bottle.<\/p>\n

The proud dad\u00a0posted the same photos on his own\u00a0page<\/a>, writing, “Riley 7lbs 8oz 2\/8\/21 ps- @meghan_trainor you are my forever Valentine and I’m so beyond grateful for you bringing our son into the world\u00a0[red heart emoji].”<\/p>\n

In October,\u00a0Meghan, 27,\u00a0spilled the news<\/a>\u00a0that she was expecting. She wrote\u00a0on Instagram, “You all know how long I’ve wanted this!!!!” Daryl, the actor best known for\u00a0Spy Kids<\/em>, told her at the time, “I love you @meghan_trainor and I can’t wait to start a family with you.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Meghan revealed the sex of her baby on\u00a0Kelly Clarkson<\/a><\/strong>‘s show later that month. “We’ve never told anyone… I saved it for you Kelly, I love you,”\u00a0she said before sharing that\u00a0she was having a little boy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The “Dear Future Husband” singer had a rather difficult pregnancy. She announced on Dec. 2 that the parents encountered a “little tiny bump in the road” when\u00a0she was diagnosed with\u00a0gestational diabetes<\/a>, which can\u00a0cause high blood sugar that can be managed with healthy food and fitness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
