Her days as Bella Swan are long gone, because\u00a0Kristen Stewart<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has moved on from the Cullens to the crown.<\/p>\n

New photos from the set of Kristen’s next movie,\u00a0Spencer<\/em>,\u00a0underscore\u00a0her uncanny resemblance to\u00a0Princess Diana<\/a><\/strong>, whom she plays in the upcoming royal film.<\/p>\n

Released on Thursday, Feb. 25, the photos show that the 30-year-old actress can totally pull\u00a0off Diana’s signature shaggy blonde hairstyle.<\/p>\n

Kristen donned a red and green plaid blazer and sunglasses\u00a0for a street scene on a busy road. It was reminiscent of an outfit 29-year-old Diana notably wore in\u00a0January 1989, when\u00a0Prince Harry<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0was 4 and\u00a0Prince William<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0was 6.<\/p>\n

Another movie shot captured Kristen in a velvet skirt and black tights\u2014with just a touch of KStew’s personal style. On her feet are\u00a0none other than a pair of black Adidas sneakers,\u00a0which likely didn’t make it into the final shot.<\/p>\n

It’s possible Kristen wore the anachronistic footwear in-between takes, or perhaps the camera was solely focused on her upper body. Or maybe, just maybe, Princess Di rocks\u00a0striped Adidas sneakers in the movie?\u00a0She is a trendsetter, after all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Regardless, it reminded us of how much queen Kristen clearly despises heels. Remember\u00a0that iconic moment<\/a>\u00a0at the\u00a02018 Cannes Film Festival when she removed her\u00a0Louboutins and walked the red carpet barefoot?! The onscreen princess obviously prioritizes comfort at all times.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Last month, fans got a first look at the\u00a0Happiest Season\u00a0<\/em>star as the late British royal, and the pic definitely\u00a0made us do a double take<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Directed by\u00a0Pablo Larra\u00edn<\/strong>,\u00a0Spencer<\/em>\u00a0reportedly also stars\u00a0Sally Hawkins<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Sean Harris<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The film, titled after Diana’s maiden name, is\u00a0expected to center on\u00a0her\u00a0strained relationship with her ex-husband,\u00a0Prince Charles<\/strong><\/a>. They officially divorced in August 1996, and she died in a highly-publicized car accident one year later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

Last year, Kristen spoke to\u00a0Jimmy Kimmel<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0about how she was preparing for the part and admitted that\u00a0she felt “protective”\u00a0<\/a>of Princess Diana.<\/p>\n

“I was really young [and] didn’t really know what was going on,” she shared. “But now, it’s hard not to feel protective over her.\u00a0I mean, she was, like, so young and obviously she comes out to here.”<\/p>\n

As for\u00a0what\u00a0Spencer\u00a0<\/em>will cover, the star\u00a0explained,\u00a0“My movie takes place over, like, three days, and it’s this, like, really poetic internal imagining of what that might have felt like rather than, giving, like, new information.\u00a0So, we kind of don’t have a mark to hit. We just also love her.”<\/p>\n
