Golden Globes<\/a>\u00a0viewers got a rare look at\u00a0Nicole Kidman<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0with husband\u00a0Keith Urban<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and their two young daughters.<\/p>\n

During co-hosts\u00a0Tina Fey<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Amy Poehler<\/strong><\/a>‘s opening monologue at the start of the annual awards ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 28, they\u00a0joked around about\u00a0a few of the nominees, including Nicole, who is up for\u00a0Best Actress in a Miniseries or Motion Picture for her role as Grace Fraser in HBO’s\u00a0The Undoing<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“The Undoing<\/em>\u00a0was a sexy and dramatic mystery where\u00a0Nicole Kidman’s coat<\/a>\u00a0is suspected of murdering her wig,” Amy quipped.<\/p>\n

During the joke, the camera showed Nicole and Keith on the couch with daughters\u00a0Sunday Rose Kidman Urban<\/strong>, 12, and\u00a0Faith Margaret Kidman Urban<\/strong>, 10. Nicole did react much to the remark but seemed a bit bemused by it.<\/p>\n

Nicole and Keith are known for keeping their young Nashville, Tenn.-based daughters out of the public eye.\u00a0During an interview\u00a0with ITV’s daytime talk show\u00a0Loose Women<\/em>\u00a0in October 2020,\u00a0she explained why the couple doesn’t allow the\u00a0girls to\u00a0have\u00a0their own social media accounts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

“Because I’m not very techie myself, so it’s very hard for me to monitor it and stay on it and not have them\u2014I won’t let them be on Instagram,” Nicole shared. “I won’t let them, you know, and I have a 12-year-old right now who’s champing at the bit wanting to like get into all that, and I’m like, ‘No, no no.'”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

The 53-year-old\u00a0Big Little Lies<\/em>\u00a0star added at the time that the debate is a “constant push-pull” and\u00a0continued,\u00a0“I would say a lot of parents would say the same thing. Am I right?”<\/p>\n

Nicole is also mom to\u00a0Isabella “Bella” Kidman Cruise<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a028, and\u00a0Connor Cruise<\/strong><\/a>, 26, from her previous marriage to\u00a0Tom Cruise<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
