As a result, he is no longer eligible to practice law.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-67225 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/tom-girardi.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"618\" height=\"410\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/tom-girardi.jpg 618w, https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/tom-girardi-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 618px) 100vw, 618px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Girardi, 81, opened his namesake firm, Girardi and Keese, over fifty years ago, but has run into a string of legal troubles as of late.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">His wife of two-plus decades, \u201cReal Housewives of Beverly Hills\u201d star Erika Jayne, filed for divorce in November weeks before the former couple was sued by a law firm representing the victims of Lion Air Flight 610 for allegedly embezzling money as part of their divorce.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Unfortunately for the victims, Girardi proceeded to plead poverty in court. The case against them is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Also in December, Girardi\u2019s former firm partner, Robert Keese, sued to dissolve their business venture, 1126 Wilshire Partnership. Keese and other attorneys alleged that Girardi did not pay them the estimated $315,000 they earned from the partnership, instead pocketing the cash \u201cfor his own personal gain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-67226 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Tom-Girardi-Erika-Jayne-1-682x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"682\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Tom-Girardi-Erika-Jayne-1-682x1024.jpg 682w, https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Tom-Girardi-Erika-Jayne-1-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Tom-Girardi-Erika-Jayne-1.jpg 683w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 682px) 100vw, 682px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\nWells Fargo Financial Services is also suing Girardi for allegedly breaching agreements he made with the bank.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Girardi\u2019s health has also taken a hit in recent months: He was hospitalized for a \u201cserious illness\u201d in December 2020 and his brother Robert claimed he was suffering from short-term memory loss in January.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Robert subsequently began acting as Tom\u2019s temporary conservator in February.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tom Girardi is no longer a lawyer.
