<\/p>\nPrince Harry and Prince William are looking for ways to have a heart-to-heart talk in the wake of Harry\u2019s blockbuster interview with Oprah Winfrey, sources tell Page Six.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey have opened communication channels,\u201d one source in the UK said.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s not clear exactly how much contact the pair have had, they are still on speaking terms after the tell-all, in which Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, accused the royal family of cruelty and racism.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, William, the Duke of Cambridge, was asked Thursday whether he had spoken to his brother.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo, I haven\u2019t spoken to him yet, but I will do,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
As we reported, the two brothers \u2014 previously extremely close \u2014 have only been communicating via WhatsApp for the better part of a year.<\/p>\n
During the interview last Sunday, Harry told Winfrey that he still has great affection for his brother.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I said before, I love William to bits,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019ve been through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Oprah interview put the royal family on the defensive this week.<\/p>\n
Queen Elizabeth herself was forced to issue a statement saying \u201crecollections may vary\u201d about whether racist statements were made about the skin color of Meghan and Harry\u2019s baby, Archie.<\/p>\n
A report later said that the Queen was grilling her staff about Meghan and Harry\u2019s claims.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, William was questioned at a public event about the alleged skin color comment.<\/p>\n
\u201cIs the royal family a racist family?\u201d a reporter asked, to which he replied, \u201cWe\u2019re very much not a racist family.\u201d<\/p>\n
William and his wife, Kate Middleton, were on a long-planned visit to School2 in East London to promote a children\u2019s mental health program when Sky News reporter Inzamam Rashid called out the question.<\/p>\n
Amid rumors that questions were planted, a royal source said: \u201cThey weren\u2019t pre-planned. Of course, William and Kate probably expected someone would shout something out \u2014 but it wasn\u2019t a set-up, they didn\u2019t know what would be asked.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnother royal source added that \u201cusually such an approach of \u2018doorstepping\u2019 is frowned upon.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, William\u2019s brief comments disappointed commentators like Nikesh Shukla, author of \u201cBrown Baby: A Memoir of Race, Family and Home.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shukla said William\u2019s comments offer \u201ca defensive bulletproof shield rather than a discussion about racism.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHaving something that you\u2019ve said be pointed out as racist is really uncomfortable, but it\u2019s what you do next that counts,\u201d he told the Associated Press.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd what I\u2019ve seen the royal family has done \u2026 is instead of interrogate that racism, they\u2019ve said, \u2018We are not a racist family,\u2019 which is a very hard thing to move forward from.\u201d<\/p>\n
