<\/p>\nMeghan Markle\u2019s new biographer thinks the duchess has a \u201cgood chance\u201d of becoming US president \u2014 but will \u201cstruggle\u201d under the microscope of politics because of her \u201cclear sensitivity.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe prospect of Meghan running for president is possible and I\u2019d even say likely,\u201d Tom Bower, who reportedly signed a six-figure deal to write about Prince Harry\u2019s wife, told Closer magazine in the UK, according to The US Sun.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really believe it\u2019s where she sees herself going,\u201d the biographer told the mag.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think she has a good chance of getting into the White House,\u201d he insisted \u2014 noting that the role could finally see her reuniting with the royal family she ripped in her TV tell-all.<\/p>\n
Markle, 39, would \u201cperhaps visit the UK to have tea with the Queen one day as President of the United States!\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n
Despite his optimism for the former \u201cSuits\u201d star\u2019s likely success in a presidential race, Bower warned that she would face a \u201cmajor\u201d hurdle because of her \u201cclear sensitivity.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPoliticians are \u201cprobably the public figures who face the most backlash,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n
\u201cI really think she would struggle. She\u2019d need to learn to take the heat,\u201d he told the mag of Markle, who said that life in the royal family left her feeling suicidal.<\/p>\n
He also pointed to recent reports of the Duchess bullying and alienating staff as a possible problem for her being able to \u201cbuild up a team of loyal staff\u201d in a future US administration.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve seen through the reports about her staff members quitting and moving on that she doesn\u2019t seem to be able to hold onto her team,\u201d he said, according to the reports.<\/p>\n
The author believes Markle \u201cmasterminded\u201d her and Harry\u2019s new life in California, with their Megxit from royal duties the only thing that now allows her to enter politics.<\/p>\n
Bower \u2014 who has previously written about Simon Cowell, Philip Green and Formula One mogul Bernie Ecclestone \u2014 is reportedly planning to spend a full year speaking to Markle\u2019s friends, foes and associates, The Sun said.<\/p>\n
