<\/p>\nDMX remained on life support Saturday afternoon at a Westchester hospital after suffering a heart attack, his lawyer told Page Six.<\/p>\n
The 50-year-old \u201cX Gon Give It to Ya\u201d rapper was taken to White Plains Hospital around 11 p.m. Friday from his nearby home, and soon placed on a ventilator, attorney Murray Richman said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt does not look good,\u201d the worried-sounding lawyer told Page Six Saturday night.<\/p>\n

Earlier Saturday night, Richman had told The Post that the rapper had been taken off life support, but that was a \u201cmisstatement,\u201d he told Page Six.<\/p>\n
The rapper is surrounded by friends and family members, Richman said.<\/p>\n
\u201cA lot of people are gathering at the hospital.\u201d<\/p>\n
DMX\u2019s first wife and at least some of his 15 children are at the hospital with him, the attorney said.<\/p>\n
The lawyer could not confirm a TMZ report that the rapper, who was born Earl Simmons, suffered the heart attack after an apparent overdose.<\/p>\n
\u201cI refuse to vouch for that because I have no personal knowledge,\u201d the lawyer said.<\/p>\n
