The drama-laden couple have called it quits a little over four months after they were photographed holding hands, Us Weekly reported.<\/p>\n
\u201cLarsa decided to distance herself from the drama,\u201d an insider told the magazine. \u201cHe was going through a lot and the timing wasn\u2019t right.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider added, \u201cMany people assumed it was serious when in fact it was not.\u201d<\/p>\n
The two, who the outlet said began as \u201cfriends first,\u201d remain \u201cin communication.\u201d<\/p>\n
A rep for Pippen didn\u2019t immediately return Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n
The former \u201cThe Real Housewives of Miami\u201d star, 46, and Minnesota Timberwolves player, 24, were first linked in November when they were seen cozying up together in Miami. Drama ensued shortly thereafter, as Beasley was still married to wife Montana Yao.<\/p>\n
Yao, 22, filed for divorce from Beasley in early December, but Pippen always maintained that she and Beasley got together after he and Yao separated.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been separated going thru a divorce for over 2 years and I\u2019ve been linked to a few guys my entire life so don\u2019t sit here and paint a picture of me that isn\u2019t tru,\u201d tweeted Pippen, who is estranged from ex Scottie Pippen.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMalik and his ex were separated before I ever met him that\u2019s a fact,\u201d Pippen added in a follow-up tweet.<\/p>\n
Beasley\u2019s divorce from Yao has been messy, as the former Miss Malibu Teen USA has claimed the baller kicked her and their son, Makai, out of the house, and Beasley doubts his son\u2019s paternity.<\/p>\n
