Sophie Turner shared her thoughts on Taylor Swift\u2019s newly released song \u201cMr. Perfectly Fine,\u201d which the singer wrote in 2008, the same year she dated Joe Jonas.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not NOT a bop,\u201d the 25-year-old actress, who married Jonas in May 2019, wrote on her Instagram Story Wednesday alongside a clip of the track\u2019s lyric video.<\/p>\n
Swift, 31, quickly took notice of Turner\u2019s compliment, which she re-posted to her own account moments later.<\/p>\n
\u201cForever bending the knee for the [Queen] of the North,\u201d she added, referencing a nickname for the Emmy nominee\u2019s \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d character, Sansa Stark.<\/p>\n
Turner\u2019s reaction was surprisingly tame considering so many fans speculated that Swift\u2019s harsh lyrics were about Jonas, 31, that his name trended on Twitter for several hours Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n
The song is one of many that Swift freed from \u201cthe vault\u201d to promote the upcoming re-recorded version of her 2008 album, \u201cFearless.\u201d Its lyrics include, \u201cHello, Mr. Perfectly Fine \/ How\u2019s your heart after breaking mine? \/ Mr. Always at the Right Place at the Right Time, baby \/ Hello, Mr. Casually Cruel \/ Mr. Everything Revolves Around You \/ I\u2019ve been Miss Misery since your goodbye \/ And you\u2019re Mr. Perfectly Fine.\u201d<\/p>\n
While the Grammy winner did not confirm that Jonas was her mystery muse, she did suggest on Twitter that \u201cMr. Perfectly Fine\u201d is based on a true story unlike the \u201csongs based in fiction to avoid drama\u201d on her 2020 albums, \u201cFolklore\u201d and \u201cEvermore.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSwift and the Jonas Brother member reportedly dated from July to October 2008. After their breakup, she claimed on \u201cThe Ellen DeGeneres Show\u201d that he had dumped her during a 27-second phone call.<\/p>\n
Jonas later alleged in a letter to fans that Swift was the one who hung up on him.<\/p>\n
\u201cPhone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk,\u201d he reportedly said at the time.<\/p>\n
Swift admitted in 2019 that she regretted putting Jonas on blast, and he seemingly forgave her.<\/p>\n
