Sources tell us that the hip-hop star is \u201cannoyed\u201d at reports that say Kim Kardashian filed first in their split, and that she\u2019s divorcing him.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re told West \u2014 who just responded to the papers filed by Kardashian two months ago \u2014 is \u201csuper annoyed that the story is being constantly presented as her divorcing him,\u201d said the source, who noted the Kardashian family\u2019s \u201chuge spin machine.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cActually it was him saying for a year that they have nothing in common except the kids and he wanted out,\u201d insisted the insider. \u201cShe pulled all the stops to try to save the marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source added that he let her \u201cfile first in order to give her dignity.\u201d<\/p>\n
A source previously told Page Six the couple, who has four children, has ceased talking.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven before Kim filed for divorce, Kanye changed his numbers and said, \u2018You can contact me through my security,’\u201d the source told us.<\/p>\n
\nThere were reports that the couple was in counseling prior to their official split.<\/p>\n
Page Six was the first to report in January that the divorce was \u201cimminent\u201d for Kardashian, 40, and West, 43. The \u201cKeeping Up with the Kardashians\u201d star filed in February.<\/p>\n
\nWest\u2019s bizarre 2020 presidential run was reportedly \u201cthe last straw\u201d for Kardashian, though sources told Page Six that West has \u201cbeen sick of being involved with [the] Kardashians for a long while. Especially her mother [Kris Jenner], who looms large in all big decisions she makes.\u201d<\/p>\n
