The ex-husband of Joanna Krupa is getting divorced from his wife of one year, Carolina Delgado.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are soul mates meant to be best friends,\u201d Delgado told Page Six on Wednesday. \u201cWe get [along] way better this way. We see each other every time he is in Miami.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Miami-based fitness model said long distance took a toll on their marriage, as Zago spends more time in LA than Florida.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood thing is we are mature enough to realize we want to have each other in our lives without the pressure of the \u2018marriage\u2019 now,\u201d she continued. \u201cWe are more focused on our careers and manage to have time to spend together whenever we can.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe is such an amazing human being and I will always love him for that!\u201d<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t expect to see Delgado on the \u201cReal Housewives of Miami\u201d reboot, as she joked she\u2019d now be more qualified for a \u201cbachelorette\u201d reality series than a \u201chousewife\u201d one.<\/p>\n
Zago didn\u2019t immediately return Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n
The Roses Du Ch\u00e2teau owner first announced the news in a Q&A on her Instagram Story, writing that she and Zago realized their love transformed into a \u201cgenuine friendship.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe realized we were more friends than a couple, so we decided to stay like that,\u201d Delgado wrote. \u201cWe care deeply about each other, I will always be there for him and viceversa [sic].\u201d<\/p>\n
Delgado said that she will still work as the Miami Mynt Lounge owner\u2019s personal trainer twice a week and joked he shouldn\u2019t \u201ceat more candies\u201d so he can get 6-pack abs for summer.<\/p>\n
Zago later shared her Instagram Story on his account.<\/p>\n
The nightclub owner and Delgado married on Feb. 23, 2020, after getting engaged in 2019.<\/p>\n
Zago first married to the former \u201cReal Housewives of Miami\u201d star in 2013, but she filed for divorce in 2017 after the marriage became \u201cinevitably broken.\u201d<\/p>\n
