On Thursday, Kensington Palace unveiled a new photo of Prince William and Kate Middleton\u2019s youngest child ahead of his 3rd birthday on Friday.<\/p>\n
The picture, which featured Louis riding his bike before he left for his first day of nursery school, was taken by his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, 39.<\/p>\n

Royal watchers wished Louis a \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d in the Instagram comments, while also noting the resemblance to his older siblings, Prince George, 7, and Princess Charlotte, who turns 6 next month.<\/p>\n
\u201cOh my goodness he is absolutely adorable. Just like his big brother and sister,\u201d one fan commented.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s just like George\ud83d\ude31,\u201d another remarked.<\/p>\n
The young prince also drew comparisons to Kate\u2019s father Michael Middleton.<\/p>\n

Louis isn\u2019t the only royal who celebrated a birthday this week. On Wednesday, Queen Elizabeth II turned 95, days after she bid farewell to her husband of 73 years, the late Prince Philip.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have, on the occasion of my 95th birthday today, received many messages of good wishes, which I very much appreciate,\u201d the Queen said in a statement shared on social media.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile as a family we are in a period of great sadness, it has been a comfort to us all to see and to hear the tributes paid to my husband, from those within the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and around the world,\u201d the statement continued.<\/p>\n
The royal family gathered last weekend at St George\u2019s Chapel for Philip\u2019s funeral, with Prince Harry returning to the UK for the first time in over a year.<\/p>\n
