She was 102.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Douglas died at her home in Beverly Hills, according to an obituary provided by spokeswoman Marcia Newberger. No cause of death was given.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Kirk Douglas, the Hollywood legend who starred in \u201cSpartacus,\u201d \u201cLust for Life\u201d and dozens of other films, died in February 2020 at 103.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-69024 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/anne-douglas-283.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"618\" height=\"410\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/anne-douglas-283.jpg 618w, https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/anne-douglas-283-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 618px) 100vw, 618px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\nHe married Anne Buydens in 1954 after they met in Paris while he was filming \u201cAct of Love\u201d and she was doing publicity. They had two sons, Peter, a producer, and Eric, an actor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u201cI often wonder what would have happened to me if I hadn\u2019t married Anne. I might not have survived without her business acumen and her finely honed instincts,\u201d Kirk Douglas once said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">In 2017 the couple published \u201cKirk and Anne: Letters of Love, Laughter, and a Lifetime in Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The Douglas Foundation, which Anne and her husband co-founded, has donated millions to a wide range of institutions, from Children\u2019s Hospital Los Angeles to the Motion Picture &amp; Television Fund.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-69023 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/anne-douglas-279-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/anne-douglas-279.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/anne-douglas-279-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/nasimword.ir\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/anne-douglas-279-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Michael Douglas said his stepmother \u201cwill always be in our hearts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u201cShe brought out the best in all of us, especially our father.
