We also exclusively reported that Vogue\u2019s gala, also known as the \u201cFashion Oscars,\u201d would be returning in person this year with an American theme.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re told that the invite-only event \u2014 with solo tickets reportedly costing $30,000 and tables going for $275,000 \u2014 has already sold out.<\/p>\n
The event is normally held the first Monday in May, but has been pushed back to back to Sept. 13 in hopes that things will be more \u201cnormal.\u201d<\/p>\n
A source previously told us the event won\u2019t be be on the first Monday of the month because that date is already occupied by Labor Day.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s exhibit \u2014 which coincides with Vogue\u2019s ball \u2014 will open in two parts.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn America: A Lexicon of Fashion\u201d will open on Sept. 18, 2021. Part two, \u201cIn America: An Anthology of Fashion,\u201d will open on May 5 of next year.<\/p>\n
The black-tie event, which raises funds for Met\u2019s Costume Institute, is fashion\u2019s biggest night. Guests in years pasts include everyone from Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Kim Kardashian to Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and CAA\u2019s Bryan Lourd. Performers have included Rihanna, The Weeknd and Cher.<\/p>\n
