The \u201cParks and Recreation\u201d alum and film director were seen on a relaxing morning stroll together in LA on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Both were dressed casually for the outing. Baena, 43, was seen wearing pink shorts and a blue and white tie-dye T-shirt with a baseball cap.<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, 36-year-old Plaza was seen in a blue Henley long-sleeve pullover and patterned workout leggings.<\/p>\n
The \u201cLife After Beth\u201d actress also rocked a makeup-free look and a ponytail.<\/p>\n
The newlyweds were joined but two other friends who were walking a fluffy dog on a leash.<\/p>\n
\nPlaza first revealed that she and Baena had quietly tied the knot earlier this week.<\/p>\n
She subtly announced the news by referring to Baena as her \u201chusband\u201d in an Instagram post about an upcoming project, indie comedy \u201cSpin Me Round.\u201d<\/p>\n
Plaza and Baena\u2019s relationship began in 2011 and they have since worked on multiple projects together including \u201cLife After Beth\u201d in 2014 and \u201cThe Little Hours\u201d in 2017.<\/p>\n
The actress keeps things about their relationship relatively private, though she did open up about dating someone within the same industry in 2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think that when you\u2019re with someone that is in your field, they understand what you\u2019re dealing with on a deeper level. So, obviously, you are able to support each other and really understand kind of the journey that we\u2019re both on,\u201d she told People.<\/p>\n
\nBut Plaza also shared that having the same passions can present problems.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know, working with your partner can always be challenging,\u201d she added. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of things we do separately, and I think that it\u2019s all about balance.\u201d<\/p>\n
Plaza and Baena\u2019s relationship grew even stronger while they quarantined together during the Coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were quarantined for months and months like everybody else,\u201d she told People. \u201cAnd we did enjoy it. I think it was, obviously other than all of the catastrophic things happening in the world, just on a personal level, relationship level, was kind of nice to just be forced to be in one place for that long. Could have gone either way, I guess.\u201d<\/p>\n
