The 35-year-old award-winning singer opened up about the traumatic experience, and the aftermath, on Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry\u2019s show \u201cThe Me You Can\u2019t See.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI was 19 years old, and I was working in the business, and a producer said to me, \u2018Take your clothes off,\u2019\u201d the star, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, revealed on the Apple TV+ docuseries, according to the Sun. \u201cAnd I said no. And I left, and they told me they were going to burn all of my music. And they didn\u2019t stop. They didn\u2019t stop asking me, and I just froze and I \u2014 I don\u2019t even remember.\u201d<\/p>\n
The singer refused to name the producer, explaining she doesn\u2019t \u201cever want to face that person again.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lady Gaga has previously opened up about taking antipsychotic medication because she struggles with \u201cmental issues\u201d as a result of the sexual assault.<\/p>\n

She said the painful memories were triggered during a hospital visit with a psychiatrist.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cFirst I felt full-on pain, then I went numb,\u201d Lady Gaga said. \u201cAnd then I was sick for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks after, and I realized that it was the same pain that I felt when the person who raped me dropped me off pregnant on a corner.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAt my parents\u2019 house because I was vomiting and sick,\u201d she added. \u201cBecause I\u2019d been being abused. I was locked away in a studio for months.\u201d<\/p>\n
She revealed that in 2019, even though her career was flourishing with her Oscar win for \u201cA Star Is Born,\u201d she was actually going through a \u201ctotal psychotic break.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cFor a couple years, I was not the same girl,\u201d she said. \u201cThe way that I feel when I feel pain was how I felt after I was raped. I\u2019ve had so many MRIs and scans where they don\u2019t find nothing. But your body remembers.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gaga had previously kept silent about the sexual assault for seven years, first revealing it in a 2014 interview.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t know how to even think about it, I didn\u2019t know how to accept it, I didn\u2019t know how to not blame myself or think it was my fault,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was something that really changed my life. It changed who I was completely.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt changed my body, it changed thoughts,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
She initially blamed the assault on herself, she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter it happened, I\u2019m like, \u2018But what did I do in my life to bring this upon myself?\u2019\u201d she revealed. \u201cThere was some sort of maybe religious guilt attached to it that I had somehow inspired the violence.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause of the way that I dress, and the way that I\u2019m provocative as a person, I thought that I had brought it on myself in some way \u2014 that it was my fault,\u201d the superstar said.<\/p>\n
