<\/p>\nTiffany Haddish is hoping for some \u201cGirls Trips\u201d of her own in the future.<\/p>\n
The 41-year-old actress talked to Entertainment Tonight about her adoption plans this week, saying she\u2019s \u201con that process now.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m currently looking, deciding on adopting,\u201d Haddish said. \u201cFirst of all, especially after this pandemic, there are so many children left without their parents. It\u2019s Foster Care Awareness Month right now, and I think we all should be aware and try to do what we can.\u201d<\/p>\n
Haddish, who was in the foster care system growing up, said she has finished the parenting courses required to begin the adoption process.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really wanted to be a foster parent, but because I\u2019m at a certain level of success, my lawyer suggested that it\u2019s probably best to just adopt, and I\u2019m on that process now,\u201d Haddish explained.<\/p>\n
The comedian also expressed her desire to adopt an older child.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to get somebody that\u2019s 5 [years old] and up. You know, already knows how to use the restroom, already knows how to talk, already knows how to communicate. All I want to do is pour knowledge in \u2026 get them ready for the big, bad world. That\u2019s what I want to do,\u201d Haddish said.<\/p>\n
In November, Haddish spoke on boyfriend Common\u2019s podcast, \u201cMind Power Mixtape,\u201d about children being part of her future plans.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to bring to them survival skills, share everything that I know with them,\u201d Haddish said, according to Today. \u201cI definitely want to either foster kids or adopt and get them at, like, 7 [years old] \u2014 where they know how to use the bathroom already on their own, they can communicate, they can tell you they\u2019re hungry. They should have some kind of manners, and if not, they can learn them.\u201d<\/p>\n
