On Thursday, the 31-year-old rapper announced that she’ll be taking “a few years” to shift her focus to “other creative projects” aside from music after the release of her third studio album,\u00a0End of an Era<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“End of an Era\u00a0<\/em>is so special to me because after I drop my album next month I am going to take a few years to focus on other creative projects and things I’m feeling passionate [about] and inspired by, beyond music,” she\u00a0tweeted<\/a>. “I’m excited for you guys to see different sides to me in the future.”<\/p>\n

End of an Era\u00a0<\/em>will be Azalea’s third studio album when it debuts next month, following\u00a0The New Classic<\/em>\u00a0in 2014 and\u00a0In My Defense<\/em>\u00a0in 2019. A specific release date for the forthcoming LP has yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
