Kirsten Dunst<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has a new baby at home!<\/p>\n

In a\u00a0New York Times<\/a><\/em>\u00a0profile published Sept. 10,\u00a0The Power of the Dog\u00a0<\/em>actress, 39, confirmed she gave birth to her second child with partner\u00a0Jesse Plemons<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>four months ago.<\/p>\n

“This is the newest guy, the Big Kahuna,” Kirsten shared of their son, named\u00a0James Robert<\/strong>.\u00a0“He’s an angel, but he’s a hungry angel. And a heavy angel.”<\/p>\n

The star joked she’s in a “really special place” with two young kids at home, explaining, “I’m so tired, I haven’t slept through the night in four months. I’ve developed an eye twitch, too.”<\/p>\n

Already mom to 3-year-old\u00a0Ennis Howard Plemons<\/strong>, Kirsten revealed her baby bump in March while\u00a0modeling for\u00a0<\/strong>W<\/em>\u00a0magazine’s Director’s issue.<\/a>\u00a0The\u00a0Bring It On<\/em>\u00a0alum joked about her size during the interview, saying,\u00a0“Every shot was on the floor… I was like, \u2018I can’t get up.’ I felt like Urkel.”<\/p>\n

For her pregnancy announcement, Kirsten enlisted the help of some longtime collaborators. Rodarte designers\u00a0Laura<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Kate Mulleavy\u00a0<\/strong>created the heavenly\u00a0white lace dress that she wore in the magazine, and\u00a0Sofia<\/strong>\u00a0Coppola<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>directed the photo shoot. Sofia and Kirsten have previously worked together on\u00a0Marie Antoinette<\/em>,\u00a0The Virgin Suicides<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0The Beguiled.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

As for the proud pops, the\u00a0Spider-Man<\/em>\u00a0star met\u00a0Jesse, now 33, on the set of\u00a0Fargo<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in 2015.<\/p>\n

At the time, he said it was “a gift” to work with her:\u00a0“I loved Kirsten’s work for a long time, and I was really excited once I’d met her, and she’s a great person, and we’re both actors that just\u2026 have fun with the material.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

It seems like they met at the perfect time. Kirsten\u00a0told\u00a0PorterEdit<\/em>\u00a0four years later that she\u00a0“knew he was going to be a soulmate” ever since they played onscreen spouses.<\/p>\n

She gushed of the\u00a0Friday Night Lights<\/em>\u00a0actor, “I just knew he would be in my life forever. I didn’t know what capacity that would be at the time. When the show was over, I just missed him terribly. We didn’t get together until a year later. We were both smart enough that we were wondering if the connection was just because we were working together. But it was real.”<\/p>\n

Kirsten also shared in the interview that motherhood has been a priority in her life, explaining, “I thought I would have a hard time getting pregnant, but it was a surprise. If I hadn’t met Jesse, I would have frozen my eggs.\u00a0[But]\u00a0it feels like I lucked out.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
