Kate Hudson<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0announced her engagement to\u00a0Danny Fujikawa<\/strong>\u00a0on Monday, Sept. 13. She shared a\u00a0selfie<\/a>\u00a0of her and Danny, giving her followers a glimpse of the diamond ring her future hubby proposed with. She added, “Let’s go,” with a series of bride and groom emojis.<\/p>\n

Within moments, the\u00a0How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days<\/em>\u00a0actress\u00a0received warm messages from friends and followers, including future sister-in-law\u00a0Sara Foster<\/strong>. Sara revealed that she was one of the few people to know about the big moment, writing, “Whoa. It’s official. Not gonna lie, been a hard secret to keep. I may have slipped and told a few people.”<\/p>\n

Her sister\u00a0Erin Foster\u00a0<\/strong>chimed in, “Finally we are officially sisters!!”<\/p>\n

The Foster sisters were joined in the comment section by\u00a0Katie Couric<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Amanda Kloots\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Zoey Deutch<\/strong>.\u00a0And there’s no doubt Kate and Danny will be congratulated by many more celebrities when they attend the\u00a0Met Gala<\/a>\u00a0on Monday night.<\/p>\n

Suffice to say fans of the\u00a0Almost Famous<\/em>\u00a0actress are chomping at the bit to see what she wears to the\u00a0Anna Wintour<\/a><\/strong>-helmed event, especially after she stepped out in absolutely stunning ensembles for the Venice Film Festival and New York Fashion Week.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, Sept. 5, Kate wore a\u00a0fiery red dress from Valentino<\/a>\u00a0to the premiere of her new film\u00a0Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon<\/em>. The lace gown accentuated her fit physique and was the perfect follow-up to the\u00a0black, barely-there Mo\u0302not dress<\/a>\u00a0she wore the previous night.<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, Kate wore an array of accessories, but it seems her engagement ring is a relatively new addition.<\/p>\n

Kate\u00a0and Danny have been dating since 2017, though they’ve been friends for way longer thanks to Erin and Sara.<\/p>\n

In November 2019, Kate hinted that she and Danny were in\u00a0it for the long haul. She told\u00a0Women’s Health<\/em>, “I’ve got the best man<\/a>… It’s the first time I feel like I have a real teammate in this. We’re able to pick up where the other one has to leave off.”<\/p>\n

Together, they share daughter\u00a0Rani Rose Hudson-Fujikawa<\/strong>, who was\u00a0born on Oct. 2, 2018<\/a>.<\/p>\n
