The change from T\u00fcrksat 3A to T\u00fcrksat 4A, which took place after 18 years, has reportedly affected television ratings for several series. After \u201cDaha 17\u201d (Daha 17) experienced a similar impact on Sunday night, \u201cAlt\u0131 \u00dcst\u00fc \u0130stanbul\u201d was also affected on Monday.<\/p>\n
According to the report, many households in Anatolia have yet to update their satellite frequencies. On some television sets from different brands, the settings required for the frequency update were also reportedly disabled, preventing viewers from accessing the broadcast through their televisions.<\/p>\n
Despite the disruption, \u201cAlt\u0131 \u00dcst\u00fc \u0130stanbul\u201d remained the top-rated program in the Total audience category with a rating of 5.05. It also ranked first in the ABC1 demographic with a rating of 4.33, while placing second in the AB category with a rating of 2.87.<\/p>\n
However, the series\u2019 ratings were approximately 30% lower than the previous week. The decline has been attributed to viewers who were unable to watch the episode on television because of the satellite frequency change.<\/p>\n
At the same time, the disruption appears to have shifted some viewing toward digital platforms. Viewers who could not access the broadcast on television reportedly contributed to an increase in digital viewership for the series.<\/p>\n
Despite the ratings decline, \u201cAlt\u0131 \u00dcst\u00fc \u0130stanbul\u201d continued to lead the Total and ABC1 categories, while its digital audience grew following the T\u00fcrksat frequency transition.<\/p>\n
