According to new reports, Thomas Markle’s interviews trying to get his daughter to see him have only pushed his duchess daughter Meghan further away. The new royal is apparently emotionally affected by his refusal to keep a low profile and therefore shaming the blue-blooded family, but fortunately, she has a shoulder to cry on – aside from her husband, of course!

Apparently, as the father-daughter relationship is getting colder, her friendship with Kate Middleton is getting tighter.

HollywoodLife reports that Meghan has been relying on her sister-in-law to help with all of the drama surrounding her dad.

One source at the palace tells the outlet that ‘Meghan and Kate are becoming extremely close, and Kate’s friendship has been invaluable to Meghan recently as she tries to deal with all the emotions she’s feeling over her father’s media outbursts.’

The insider also dished that ‘Kate has a great attitude, and always manages to make Meghan smile, no matter how terrible she may be feeling. It’s great that Meghan has someone on the inside that understands what she’s going through, and gets all the pressure that she’s feeling. Harry is thrilled that Meghan and Kate have forged such a close friendship, it’s a great relief to him, and he really appreciates how much Kate is looking out for Meghan.’
