Carrie Underwood, 35, Says She Might Be Too Old To Have Another Baby And Twitter Loses Its Mind!
Carrie Underwood and her significant other Mike Fisher are the parents of a three-year-old son named Isaiah, and the singer seems to regret that they ’missed [their] chance’ to give him a sibling. But the things is, she is only 35 and fans are not having any of that!
While talking to Redbook, the star said: ‘I’m 35, so we may’ve missed our chance to have a bigger family. We always talk about adopting and doing it when our child or children are a bit older. In the meantime, we are lucky to be a part of organizations that help kids, because our focus right now is helping as many kids as possible.’
It is safe to say that her statement confused a lot of people as Carrie is definitely far from having missed her fertility window at 35.
But that was what she was suggesting right? That she was too old to give Isaiah a brother or sister?
As a result, many tweeted at her, making it very clear that 35 is a perfectly normal age to give birth nowadays.
‘Carrie, you can still have babies at age 35. Women are having babies later in life than your mother generation! They try to establish their careers where her generation a lot of times we are happy as housewives,’ one user wrote.
‘You need to know your window for having children isn’t closed. The only thing stopping you is your decision. You can still have healthy children. 35 isn’t old, 35 is not too late, 35 is fine,’ another said.
Others were touched by her adoption comments, encouraging her to make such a sweet gesture and give a child a chance at a good life and loving parents.
